Leather Furniture Upholstery and Repair Options
We provide leather upholstery for sofas, chairs, cushions, ottomans, benches and selected furniture panels in Scottsdale, Phoenix and nearby communities. The appropriate solution may be complete reupholstery, replacement of selected upholstered sections or referral for a specialized surface repair, depending on the construction and condition.
Peeling bonded leather, torn panels, failed seams, compressed cushions and worn high-contact areas do not all require the same repair. Photos are reviewed first, but an in-person inspection may be necessary when damage extends into the padding, support system or frame.
Leather, Vinyl and Material Matching
Genuine leather is ordered by the hide and varies naturally in grain, color, markings and usable area. Additional material may be required to cut around defects or to maintain consistent placement across visible sections. Dye-lot and finish variation can occur, and an exact match to aged leather is not guaranteed.
Upholstery vinyl may be considered for certain furniture, commercial seating or budget requirements. Leather and vinyl behave differently in stretch, breathability, aging and appearance, so they are not treated as interchangeable materials solely because the color is similar.
Cushions and Internal Repairs
Leather upholstery may also require foam, Dacron, cushion envelopes, seam reinforcement or corrections to worn padding. Hidden repairs are not assumed in the upholstery price and are discussed after the furniture is opened or inspected.
