Custom Upholstered Furniture and Built-In Seating
We build and upholster selected custom furniture for residential and commercial spaces in Scottsdale, Phoenix, Paradise Valley and nearby communities. Projects may include benches, banquettes, ottomans, headboards, upholstered wall panels, window seats, cushions and seating made to fit a specific area.
Work can begin from field dimensions, a reference image, a drawing or specifications supplied by the client, designer, architect or contractor. The final scope depends on the dimensions, frame requirements, upholstery details, site access, material selection and whether installation is required.
Planning and Construction
Before production, we confirm the overall size, visible surfaces, cushion style, seams, welt, channeling, tufting, attachment methods and other details that affect labor and material. Fixed banquettes and wall panels may require a site visit so walls, floors, outlets, baseboards and access conditions can be reviewed.
Frames, foam, padding and upholstery materials are selected according to intended use and the requested appearance. Commercial or high-use seating may require different construction and material specifications than a residential accent piece.
Fabric, Leather and Vinyl
Material options may include upholstery fabric, performance textiles, leather and vinyl. Pattern repeats, stripes, velvet nap and matched seams can increase yardage. Client-provided material must be suitable for upholstery and the proposed construction; the client remains responsible for its quality and performance.
